The wedding was a vintage Eastern affair, with deep red velvet drapes throughout the venue.
The bride wanted a red and gold gift box to match. Her brief was clear: keep the decoration minimal, but don't compromise on texture.
The Design
For the red, we used a dark crimson paper with an irregular, leather-like grain.
For the gold, a single panel of brushed matte gold cardstock, printed with only the couple's names and wedding date.
Nothing else.
When a design is this pared-back, everything rests on the materials. The raw, tactile red against the quiet sheen of the matte gold — that's where the quality lives.
